We have the answer for you…Virgin River Casino and Spingeeks presents Mesquite Madness on March 24th, 2012 in sunny Mesquite, NV! A perfect getaway for the entire family with the winter blahs. Mesquite is located one hour north of Las Vegas and 30 minutes south of St. George, Utah. Mesquite is a popular destination for gambling, golfing, hiking, spa treatments, and those looking to escape the cold of winter. The desert sun may be hot, but not in March. Visitors can enjoy a wide array of activities from cycling, hiking, golfing, swimming, slot machines, and blackjack! Please come join us as we start the cycling season with both 80 mile and 38 mile options.

We have arranged special pricing at the Virgin River Casino. The group rate is $59.98 per night (Friday night and Saturday night). You will need to book before March 2nd to receive the group rate but it is not uncommon for the town to fill up on the weekends so don’t wait to book.

A: The average high is in the mid 70′s with a low in the mid 40′s. Mornings can be cool but it warms up fast. However, it is not uncommon for a day to reach well into the 80′s or even stay in the 60′s so be sure to watch the weather.
A: There are four stops for the 80 mile riders and one for the 30 mile riders.
A: Yes, but it’s still a good idea to be prepared for any sort of breakdown.
A: Yes, in addition to the fully stocked rest stops there will also be a full lunch at the finish line.
A: The first 35 miles is flat however you will climb 1500 feet the next 15 miles to the turnaround. After that it’s a descent with rollers to the finish line.
A: Yes, we will be providing a photography service. More information will be available as we get closer to the event.
